JOHANNESBURG - The accused in the murder of Joburg teacher, Kirsten Kluyts will be spending New Year's behind bars, after being denied bail in the Alexandra Magistrate's Court.
The 21-year-old has been in police custody since his arrest after being seen leaving the crime scene wearing Kluyts' t-shirt.
The accused has maintained he didn't murder her but stumbled upon her body.
Kluyts was killed in October while participating in the MyRun race.
The accused has a moment with his father before he is sent back down. His father is heard saying “Don’t be scared”
