JOHANNESBURG - More witnesses are expected to take to the stand when the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes today at the High Court in Pretoria.
The state will continue to lead evidence that the five men on trial are behind the soccer star's 2014 murder. Previously, the state has led confession statements and a pointing out from accused one and two that implicate all of the accused.
It also pointed to Meyiwa's then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo as the one who ordered the hit.
In September, ballistics expert Chris Mangena revealed that the gun used in the killing had been linked to one of the accused and that two shots had been fired.
