Justice for Meyiwa | Bongani Ntanzi's whereabouts questioned

PRETORIA - Accused two in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, Bongani Ntanzi, was jailed for the entire day before making his confession.

That emerged in the trial-within-a-trial looking at whether confessions made by Ntanzi and accused one, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibaya should be admitted as evidence in court.

A police officer who took down his confession was again in the hot seat.

Solomon Raphadu was grilled on the accused's whereabouts after the defence referred him to an occurrence book from the police station he was detained at.

Two metro police officers who escorted both the accused also took the stand, denying the assault claims.

Meanwhile a group of protesters, including accused number four's family members, gathered outside court calling for the accused to be acquitted.
