Genocide hearing set for 11-12 January
PRETORIA - The International Court of Justice will sit next week to hear South Africa’s accusation,
that Israel is committing Genocide in Palestine.
In a motion to the ICJ, Pretoria claimed Israel has violated the United Nations Genocide Convention in its continuing assault against Hamas in Gaza.
Israel has rejected the allegations as false.
Pretoria says its lawyers are currently preparing for the case.
Meanwhile, Israel says its forces are continuing with their operations in Gaza as they seek to destroy the tunnel system developed by Hamas and hunt down those responsible for the 7 October attacks on Israel.
