Health Department wants to get to the bottom of food contaminations

JOHANNESBURG - The NatJoints has been tasked with coordinating investigations into the causes of death of several children in different parts of the country. 

These include one being conducted by the NICD.

Dozens of schoolchildren have fallen seriously ill and others have died from suspected food poisoning in recent months after eating food bought at spaza shops.

Health Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi says government wants to get to the bottom of this matter.
