CAPE TOWN - Tempers flared during a town hall meeting on crime hosted by Power to Truth in Hanover Park on Tuesday night.
Angry residents told police and authorities to stop the blame game and find long-lasting solutions.
They say there are not enough police, and those that are there are corrupt.
Gang-related incidents continue to torment communities and many have blamed police for not doing enough.
But Police Minister Bheki Cele says police are putting in lots of effort.
Cele defends police work in Hanover Park
