JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng Finance MEC, Lebogang Maile will deliver his budget speech on Tuesday.
Residents hope the MEC will split the money accordingly and put more finances on issues that are affecting them.

The issue of youth unemployment remains a concern as more and more young people are without jobs.
Some residents want cleaner streets and more housing for the needy.
The City of Johannesburg is currently battling with inner-city decay with most traffic lights stolen or not working, cracked roads with potholes, broken street lights and uncollected refuse.

There is also an issue of hijacked buildings that have been converted into slums with informal settlements that occasionally catch fire, killing dozens of people.
Maile is expected to give solutions to all these problems with his budget presentation.
