JOHANNESBURG - Emergency services have been kept busy in Gauteng this festive season.
In Soweto, a blaze broke out at a five-bedroom house, leaving two people dead on Sunday night. And in Ekurhuleni, a landfill site caught fire just before Christmas.
They are also now on high alert amid warnings of severe thunderstorms and flash floods.
