JOHANNESBURG - Fuel prices could increase substantially in February.
According to the latest data from the Central Energy Fund, diesel could increase by more than one rand per litre.
Petrol motorists could pay around 90 cents per litre more at the pumps.
The current under-recovery on illuminating paraffin is also around one Rand.

This is due to a weaker rand and elevated oil prices during January.
The confirmed fuel price announcement has not yet been announced.
New prices will be coming into effect on Wednesday 5 February.
