Four provinces to be affected by Lesotho Highlands canal maintenance

JOHANNESBURG - Tunnels from the Lesotho Highlands Water Project will be closed for maintenance from the first of October. 

So says Deputy Water and Sanitation minister, David Mahlobo.

About four provinces, including Free State and the North West will be affected.

Mahlobo says measures will be in place to fill the gaps. He was speaking at the Water Imbizo in Boksburg on Friday.
