The group is said to have been terrorising motorists on Gauteng roads for the past three years.

Gauteng Police Spokeperson, Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says victims have been kidnapped, robbed and hijacked by these suspects. She says they followed up after the arrested SAPS members were captured by a camera on a truck that was hijacked.

The arrest follows another arrest that took place this week when two suspects were nabbed trying to hijack two victims in a Land Rover.

Colonel Nevhuhulwi has cautioned motorists about criminal activities that take place on SA roads by these blue lights criminals. She says they are working on having more suspects arrested as investigations show that there are more law enforcement agencies involved in such incidents.
