HARARE - Zimbabwean war veteran Blessed Geza is in hiding.
He was expelled from ZanuPF after he called for the departure of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Geza accused Mnangagwa of failing to rule and is wanted by police for questioning.
He appeared on X calling for protests against Mnangagwa.
Police say the demonstrations would be illegal and will be crashed.
However, a coalition of civil society groups says that protests are a Constitutional right.
Journalist Blessed Mhlanga has been in detention for a month after he interviewed Geza about his demand for Mnangagwa to go.
