JOHANNESBURG - The EFF's Floyd Shivambu has resigned as a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters and is joining the uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party).
Shivambu says he is stepping down from all position of the party.
He made the announcement at a media briefing on Thursday.
Shivambu has occupied the position of deputy president since the party was established in 2013.
