Estina Dairy Farm | NPA ready to reinstate Estina case after court decision

JOHANNESBURG - The NPA says it's ready to reinstate the Estina Dairy Farm case.

It follows the Free State High Court’s decision to strike it off the roll.

The defence had claimed it had difficulty accessing digital versions of key evidence.

But, the State says it had already provided hard copies and digital versions, along with technical support.

The NPA says it remains committed to proceeding with the case, and has witnesses lined up.

The R300-million project in Vrede in the Free State was meant to benefit emerging black farmers.

But it’s alleged the money was siphoned off to Gupta-linked companies instead.
