Electricity Minister promises affordable green hydrogen

JOHANNESBURG - Renewable energy has always been a rich man's game.

This is due to the high price of things like solar equipment.

But, Energy Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says this will not be the case for green hydrogen.

He says all economic classes will be able to buy the alternate energy.

The EU has pledged two grants worth hundreds of millions to help SA kick-start its green hydrogen industry.
