Eerste and Liesbeeck rivers burst their banks

CAPE TOWN - Cape Town mayor, Geordin Hill-Lewis says about 70 areas have been affected by heavy rains.

This comes after the South African Weather Service issued a level 8 warning for the Mother City.

Cape Town has been battered by windy and wet weather over the past few days, and the Eerste and Liesbeek rivers have burst their banks.
