EC family in court over Department of Rural Development corruption

EAST LONDON - A mother, daughter and relatives have been released on bail after a short appearance at the East London Magistrate's Court.

They face charges relating to land claims corruption and fraud.

The NPA in the province says that they have been following the case for a while.

Senior manager a the East London Department of Rural Development and Land Affairs, Funeka Malusi, her daughter Chulumaco and several relatives will return to court on 7 November.
