Durban faces 12 months of water rations

DURBAN - The people of Durban are bracing for a year of water restrictions as the city continues to struggle to meet demand.

The eThekwini Municipality has announced plans to introduce a water curtailment order next week.

The move is causing concern among residents who already have unreliable water supply.

The water curtailment order will come into effect on 10 October.

It will be in place for a period of 12 months.
