Dlamini-Zuma remembers Aziz Pahad

JOHANNESBURG - Foreign Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Aziz Pahad was not just a Deputy Minister, but a teacher to other deputies and even ministers.

She says the history of South Africa and the ANC can not be written without Aziz Pahad.

"The history and the story of our liberation would not be complete without Aziz's contribution," she said.

"It is no coincidence that he wrote in his biography that his life and his life experience cannot be separated from the ANC or the SACP."

The former Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister died on Wednesday at the age of 82.

He was laid to rest at Heroes Acre.
