SALDANHA BAY, Western Cape - The defence in the Joshlin Smith kidnapping and human trafficking trial is painting the key state witness as unreliable.
It bases this on Lourentia Lombard's history of drug abuse.
She testified that Joshlin’s mother, Kelly, sold her child to a sangoma for R20,000.
She also broke down twice during cross-examination on Wednesday.
