DA terminates Renaldo Gouws' party membership

JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance has terminated Renaldo Gouws' party membership.

The DA’s Federal Executive reached this decision unanimously following a comprehensive investigation by the party's Federal Legal Commission.

Gouws was found to have breached multiple sections of the DA's constitution resulting in the loss of his parliamentary seat.

He was seen on using racial slurs in a video that went viral earlier this year.
