Crime in SA | Officials admit policing is difficult in Diepsloot

JOHANNESBURG - Law enforcement agencies admit that policing is difficult in Diepsloot.

The community has been calling for urgent intervention to deal with high crime rates in the area.

Seventeen people, mostly undocumented foreign nationals, were arrested for murder between October and December.

But police say poor roads and a lack of street lights make their work extremely difficult.

The community is calling on government departments to work together to deliver services.
