JOHANNESBURG - Police detectives and forensic unit services have been granted more resources.

Outgoing Police Minister Bheki Cele says despite the budget cuts incurred, this is significant progress aimed at speeding up the performance of the country’s detective and forensic service units.

Meanwhile, police say their focus will also turn to ensuring the national assembly sitting is not disrupted.
