CAPE TOWN - Manenberg residents are adamant they will not be held captive by gang violence.
This after the death of five-year-old Ameer Abrahams.
The five-year-old who suffered a fatal gunshot wound while walking with his father to a tuck-shop earlier this week was laid to rest on Friday.
The two alleged shooters linked to Abrahams' killing made a brief appearance in the Athlone Magistrate's Court on Friday where the case was postponed to the 17th of January.
eNCA's Kevin Brandt was there and compiled this report.
