COSATU calls for parliament to act against errant MPs
CAPE TOWN - Parliament has failed to keep its house in order and deal with errant members. That's the belief of trade union federation COSATU.
The union says Parliament's ethics commitee is lenient on members who've brought the house into disrepute.
COSATU's parliamentary co-ordinator, Matthew Parks, says action must be taken against members accused of unethical behaviour.
These members include DA's Renaldo Gouws, who is in hot water over a racist video. The others are the MK Party's Visvin Reddy, Andile Mngxitama, and the ANC's Zizi Kodwa.
