JOHANNESBURG - The National Assembly Speaker will find out today whether her urgent court bid to block her arrest has been successful or not.
Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula faces a string of corruption and money laundering charges amounting to more than R4m.
The embattled Speaker wants to be summoned to court on a date when her attorney will be present.
The charges are contained in the National Prosecuting Authority's answering affidavit.

The NPA says it has a whistleblower who allegedly gave 12 different gratifications to Mapisa-Nqakula during her time as Defence Minister.
Judgment will be handed down in the high court in Pretoria.
