Consumer commission raiding spazas in Soweto

JOHANNESBURG - Expired goods found on the shelves of spaza shops remain a serious concern for the National Consumer Commission.

The commission started a week-long inspection of shops in Soweto on Monday.

This followed the tragic deaths of six children, who allegedly consumed poisoned food from the local spaza.
