Concern over new year births by teen moms

POLOKWANE - Limpopo has so far welcomed 55 newborn babies at hospitals across the province on New Year’s Day.

However, the province’s Health MEC, Phophi Ramathuba, has raised concerns over the number of teenage mothers.

She says their hospital trauma wards are full of young children and has appealed to tavern owners to stop selling alcohol to minors.
