JOHANNESBURG - City Power is rolling out a new blackout schedule when the lights go out again.
Currently, South Africa will head into its second week, of uninterrupted electricity supply.
On Sunday, City Power released a statement saying after rigorous consultations with various councillors, residents and experts, it's decided to bring back the four-hour blackout block.
Previously, City Power's introduction of frequent two-hour outages caused uproar amongst residents.
That's because many suburbs experienced blackouts, in two-hour blocks, more than six times a day during stage five and higher.
