Cholera outbreak | Public urged to exercise caution

JOHANNESBURG - The Health Department is urging people to be vigilant after two cholera cases were detected in Limpopo.

Both cases have been imported from Zimbabwe.

The department says it's on high alert for any new imported cases.

The first case was confirmed in Musina after a 43-year-old male patient tested positive.

He has since been discharged from hospital.

The second case is a 27-year-old man who presented at Hellen Franz Hospital.

The patient travelled to Zimbabwe last month and returned to South Africa last week.
