CAPE TOWN - The Independent Police Investigative Directorate has declassified the report into the murder of Western Cape Anti-Gang Unit Commander, Charl Kinnear.
The report was classified as top secret in 2022.

High-ranking SAPS officials are among those fingered in the report.
Kinnear was murdered outside his house at Bishop Lavis, Cape Town, in September 2020.
His widow, Nicolette Kinnear, has been calling for the IPID report to be declassified and spoke to eNCA.
