Bester prison escape case postponed to February 2024

BLOEMFONTEIN - The Thabo Bester prison escape saga has been transferred to the High Court in Bloemfontein for a pre-trial conference in February next year.

Charges against three suspects in the Thabo Bester prison escape saga have been dropped by the State.

This includes Moeketsi Ramolula, Thabang Mier, and Nastassja Jansen.

Meanwhile, Dr Nandipha Magudumana's lawyer, Machini  Motloung, says his client is feeling ill.

She allegedly collapsed in a police holding cell at Bloemfontein's Parkroad Police Station ahead of her court appearance on Wednesday.
