Bester: I am willing to be given a death sentence

BLOEMFONTEIN - Convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester says that if the prosecution is convinced of his guilt, then they should give him a death sentence.

Bester was speaking during his court appearance alongside eight co-accused in his escape saga at the High Court in Bloemfontein on Wednesday. 

The case has been postponed to 24 July to allow Bester a chance to find new legal representation.
