Aziz Pahad to be laid to rest

JOHANNESBURG - Family and friends will bid a final farewell to struggle veteran Aziz Pahad on Saturday.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has granted him a special official category 2 funeral.

The former Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister died on Wednesday at the age of 82.

The South African Police Service will provide ceremonial elements during the funeral service.

President Ramaphosa has directed that flags be flown at half-mast around the country until Saturday night.
