JOHANNESBURG - Jabulani Khumalo’s lawyers say the IEC should not have accepted a letter from former President Jacob Zuma’s daughter Duduzile.
They say Khumalo's letter alerting the IEC of his resignation from the Umkhonto wesizwe party should have been verified.
The expelled leader is in court fighting to be reinstated as a party leader.
He was expelled from the position and replaced by former President Jacob Zuma.
