ANC's David Makhura says the party must renew or perish

BOKSBURG - The head of the ANC's political school, David Makhura, says the ANC knows very well that the renewal of the party is no longer an option but an imperative. 

He says the organisational and ideological problems that exist within, have degenerated the ANC, which has led to the party shedding everything.

Makhura was talking on the sidelines of the NEC meeting discussing why the party lost the national election so badly.
