South Africans still have faith in the ANC - Ramokgopa

CAPE TOWN -  The ANC maintains that South Africans still have confidence in the party.

This is despite failing to secure a majority vote in the 2024 general elections.

The party's second deputy secretary-general, Maropene Ramokgopa says there are plans to strengthen local government and improve service delivery.

The party has not been in control of the Western Cape for a very long time.

Ramokgopa says this has seen issues such as service delivery go down to a very sad state.

Party president Cyril Ramaphosa emphasised the need for the ANC to renew itself or perish.

The party also committed to addressing the needs of South Africans.

This is because many communities all around the country have expressed concerns about receiving inadequate service delivery.
