ANC says nothing will further delay the announcement of Gauteng MECs

JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng Cabinet announcement was delayed once more, as the ANC and DA fail to reach an agreement.

During Monday's press briefing, the Gauteng ANC Provincial Secretary, TK Nciza, said Premier Panyaza Lesufi, is ready, but the DA is stalling negotiations.

Lesufi was meant to announce his cabinet on Monday night.

The two parties are struggling to find common ground on the composition of the cabinet. DA Gauteng leader Solly Msimanga has accused the ANC of negotiating in bad faith.
