JOHANNESBURG - ANC leaders who have been removed from their structures are free to challenge the party's decision.
This is the position of the party's secretary-general, Fikile Mbalula.
He said this before making sweeping changes to the KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng leadership.
Mbalula says the ANC is focusing on skill and experience.
He says the party has a combination of young and old members that will drive ANC on the right path.

The reconfiguration comes after the party performed poorly in KZN and Gauteng during the May 2024 elections.
These two provinces were previously dominated by the ANC.
