JOHANNESBURG - The rape of a seven-year-old girl at her school in the Eastern Cape has sparked outrage and has mobilised marches around the country.
She was attacked allegedly on the school premises while waiting for her transport.
GBV activists have criticised the slow response from law enforcement, saying authorities often fail to act unless cases gain public attention.
