JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA's Nobuhle Mthembu has been elected Speaker of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality with 180 votes.
She beat the DA's Nonhlanhla Sifumba who got 68 votes.

Mthembu has promised to restore the City to its glory days.
She takes over from African Independent Congress Margret Arnold.
