JOHANNESBURG - The Health Department has placed almost 900 medical interns in its mid-year cycle.
This is a short cycle to place those not placed in the January intake.
The doctors, nurses and pharmacists will begin their community service on 17 July.
It comes after an outcry from young professionals unable to find space in public health facilities.
