5 murder suspects killed in shootout with KZN police
DURBAN - Five suspects wanted in connection with a string of murder and business robbery cases, have been killed in a shootout with police in Cato Crest, Durban on Tuesday night.
The suspects were cornered at a rented double-storey flat on Standard Road in Cato Crest.
A shootout ensued when police announced their presence.
Five suspects were found to have sustained fatal gunshot wounds after police ceased firing.
An AK47 assault rifle, three handguns and drugs were found in the possession of the suspects.
No police officer was injured during the shootout.
