2024 elections | Young people seize electoral moment

JOHANNESBURG - The IEC says it's hoping the final voter registration drive this weekend will see the missing majority of young voters coming out in their numbers, and contribute to shaping the future.

Over 23,000 registration centres will be open on Sunday, with over 69,000 people employed to facilitate the process.

The centres will be open between 8am and 5pm.

Many young people registering to vote say they want to see more change and opportunities for the youth.

They say they want to see change and issues such as youth unemployment being addressed.
