2024 elections | Outgoing Limpopo premier discusses shooting

POLOKWANE - Limpopo Police Commissioner Thembi Hadebe says they have questioned Polokwane Mayor, John Mpe about the incident that resulted in the shooting of a nine-year-old girl in Juju Valley.

The shooting happened during a scuffle involving ANC and EFF supporters a few weeks ago.

At least two people have been arrested. 

One is Jossey Buthane, a former EFF provincial chairperson and now ANC member, for possession of an unlicensed firearm and attempted murder.
