JOHANNESBURG - The IEC says an investigation is underway after one ballot box was lost in KwaZulu-Natal.
The commission promptly allayed any fears of compromise by adding that the ballot in question had already been counted and captured before it disappeared.

National General Manager of Operations at the IEC Granville Abrahams says the box went missing after being transported from a Ward 14 voting station in uMhlathuze in KwaZulu-Natal.
