2024 elections | IEC hands lists of elected people to Chief Justice

JOHANNESBURG - The chairperson of the Independent Electoral Commission handed over the lists of future MPs and members of the provincial legislatures, to Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, on Thursday.

Zondo then passed them on to the Secretary of Parliament, Xolile George, at the official ceremony at the Constitutional Court.

This handover was in preparation for the first sitting of the National Assembly in about a fortnight's time.
