JOHANNESBURG - The IEC says it has no personal vendettas against parties or politicians.
It was responding to new party, Arise, who were picketing outside its Centurion offices.
The party accuses the commission of illegally removing it from the national ballot.

But the IEC says the removal was for valid and legal reasons.
"The allegation that we have removed someone from the list sounds like we really have been personal and intentional, no we don't do that and we haven't done it," said IEC chairperson Mosotho Moepya.
"What we have done is exercise the provisions of the law without fear, without favour or without prejudice."
