JOHANNESBURG - The ANC has slammed the leaking of its election lists and says it will continue to speak for itself on who gets to represent the party.
In a statement, the party says the lists, circulating on social media, appear to emanate from the IEC online candidate nomination system.

The party is expressing its concern at the unauthorised release of personal information which potentially contravenes the Protection of Personal Information Act.

Meanwhile, parties who haven't submitted the names of candidates who'll represent them at the national and provincial level will not be able to contest in this year's elections.
