DURBAN - The ANC is confident it will hold onto KwaZulu-Natal after this year's election.
This despite most polls suggesting it won't.
This weekend, the party launches its manifesto in the province where it faces the worst push back ever.
First Deputy SG Nomvula Mokonyane says the election results will surprise many.
"Things have turned around, people will be surprised. We're looking good. We understand the issues that affect the people of KwaZulu-Natal," she said.
"People here in KwaZulu-Natal are saying don't even talk about load-shedding. Things are being rolled out now here in KZN.
"The entities are implementing things. Bulk infrastrusture problems are now being rolled out."
